Santari MTO
Atsushi of Santari has an eye for detail.
His creations are exquisitely made to the highest standard in his small atelier in Asakusa, Tokyo. What I enjoy most in working with Atsushi is the flexibility of choices, and how he's always doing his very best to improve the experience for my clients. He's doesn't stop at "good enough", but pursues perfection as Japanese artisans are known for. I'm very proud to have worked with Atsushi for several years and to consider him my friend.
Looking for something special? Contact me to have a chat about what you may look for. The last I use is specifically made for me. It's an understated, classic last. Elegant without being too much. A nice, round toe that will work with both formal oxfords, derbies and chukkas. Atsushi has a few lasts of him own that we may use. One of them is specifically made for clients with low instep and flat feet. For some clients, he also do slight adaptions to the lasts to help with wide feet, high instep, or other difficulties.
