There is one leather I have always wanted to offer from Edward Green. The hatch grain has such beautiful depth with it's slight variations. The grain is quite similar to Utah, but it behaves differently - a little more rustic.

The Dover is an iconic piece of a British shoe, with its meticulously hand-stitched split toe and the classic 606 last. In the colour Saddle Brown, this will be a pair to use with denim, corduroy, tweeds, and maybe even a suit?

My version will be made just like I prefer my Dover. With a thin leather midsole and the R1 sole that will offer incredible durability whilst remaining sharp.

This will be the first Edward Green Dover ever made in in this Hatch Grain, and I for one can't wait to see the result. I have a feeling we'll be placing these in various colours the coming seasons.

Please note the last picture is the Dover in dark brown utah. This will be similar, but a little lighter and with a little more life in the leather. This hatch grain is not the same as the one used with the Galway I'm currently offering.
